Executive Functioning Boot Camp

Executive Functioning Boot Camp

What is it?

The Executive Functioning Boot Camp is a six weeks of group counseling sessions focused on education and building executive skills such as task initiation, working memory, planning/organization, and completing assignments. The program consists of identifying specific goals to the individual and tackling them in a group setting.

Who runs it?

The group is run by Licensed School Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst Mike Nyman. Mike has over 10 years of experience working with children with disabilities in a variety of settings working on executive skills. Mike is passionate about helping students who have the ability to do well, but struggle with some of the finer details.

Who is it for?

The group is geared towards middle schoolers and high schoolers with ADHD or other learning difficulties such as high functioning autism or learning disabilities. However, the group is meant for anyone who needs extra support in finding success in school, home life, or extracurricular activities.

When is it?

Groups are currently accepting new students to begin in December 2020 and January 2021. Groups last six weeks and are meeting virtually due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
